Illustration Display Portfolio

SCBWI illustrators on show at the Fair!

A portfolio of SCBWI illustrator members' work will be on display at the SCBWI Showcase during the Bologna Book Fair, available for browsing by visitors including publishers and agents. In addition, a digital version of the portfolio will be posted to our website with thumbnails of artwork and contact information.

Call for Submissions

The IDP is now closed for submissions for 2010, but be sure to check again for the next biennial.

*Note: Illustrators must be confirmed SCBWI Bologna Symposium 2010 attendees in order to submit artwork to the Illustration Display Portfolio.

Illustrators are requested to send a PDF sample of your artwork to IDP@scbwiBologna.org by February 14, 2010. The sample PDF should contain one or more images on one side of an A4 or 8.5 x 11 inch size page, portrait format (ie height taller than width) with your name and contact details visible alongside.

All artwork will then be reviewed for inclusion. Successful applicants will be asked to make a high-definition (300dpi+) PRINT OUT of their accepted sample page in A4 size and bring it to the conference for inclusion in the portfolio.

Participation in the Illustration Display Portfolio is optional and for an additional fee. You can register for participation.

Please attach and email your PDF sample to IDP@scbwiBologna.org by February 14, 2010.
